Welcome

Hi! This is where I'll be listing activities and information for our troop members. When it's all set up, there should be links to websites that have informations such as our Council programming, Camps, and other activities offered by Girl Scouts. I will also post monthly activities compiled by our Service Unit. I will however, scrub out any location or personal info that may be shared by our Service Unit volunteers. If a troop member needs more detail about any upcoming events, ask, and I'll email it to them.

Coming up in Girl Scouts - Sept 2022 edition

Below are some Girl Scout activities coming up: Sept. 10 - Camp ButterFLY, a free virtual event Hear women talk about working their fields and how they got there. Looks like these panels happen about every three to five months. Here's a link to more information about this organization and panelists. Sept. 10 deadline for notifying if hosting an activity for Nov. 12 - STEM Day Girl Scouts of Oregon and SW Washington are looking for Girl Scouts interested in creating and hosting activity tables for other Girl Scouts of all levels to participate in. As examples from troops in our Service Unit, last year Troop 12000 and a few other Girl Scouts in SU14 led a fun popsicle stick catapult building activity and had conversations about engineering and energy flow. If this is something in which you are interested let me know, and I'll contact the organizer.  Small amounts of funding may be available to help with the purchasing of supplies. Information about STEM day can be found here!  ...
